CAD Freedom and Precision - Views and News from KubotekUSA

I have been and still am, a Cadkey user from 1985. I was actually who pressed for work plane based 2d design in 3d, implemented in v.3.15 (was before only as a specified view in the screen plane and depth possible). 
 
I am using several other systems as well (Catia, Solidworks..)so I am aware of pros and contras. 
 
What I warmly would welcome, is an additional feature in Transform: the "Roll" transformation. This could be as a start maybe only 2d, i.e. a 2d curve rolls on a fixated 2d curve taking entities with. (Move, Copy, Join) and later a 3d primitive (Cylinder, Cone) rolling on a fixated Cylinder or cone taking entities with. The use of this is obvious to the mechanical designer.  
 
 
 
When I was young, I did some CADL programming but now I am too weary to do that on this topic. 
 
Young man would do it faster and better than me.
